“Wisdom doesn’t necessarily come with age..wisdom is only relevant if it solves problems in the future, if you can provide a solution. It is a moveable feast and a very tricky word…the only thing that comes with age is experience, and if you equate that with wisdom then the two are interchangeable. You can continue to make the mistakes that you previously made and not learn from experience!”
For our first session of The Wisdom Hour: Ageing in a Changing World, fashion designer Betty Jackson, sat down with Royal College of Art MA Fashion graduate and adaptive wear designer Ellen Fowles to discuss fashion, design, and style at every age.
