Join the “The Wisdom Hour” for a winter workshop at the Design Museum exploring the wisdom of giving and receiving gifts. Facilitated by This Age Thing and Design Age Institute.

The Wisdom Hour invites participants to the Design Museum for a cup of tea and some delicious biscuits as well as the opportunity to listen, share experiences, and celebrate the stories and wisdom of getting older.
For this seasonal session we will be exploring the wisdom of giving and receiving gifts. We will tapping into our collective wisdom and will have fun exploring questions such as:
Why do we give gifts?
Does giving make us more joyful?
What makes a good gift?
Do we get better at giving gifts as we get older?
As part of the workshop we invite participants to bring a story or object that represents the best (or worst) gift you have ever received, or the best (or worst) gift you have ever given someone else.
Refreshments will be provided.
