Belvedere, Bournemouth, UK
The Bournemouth Belvedere project provides more than 100 new homes in a prominent position above the seafront. To support the project, our access and inclusive environments team developed design proposals for the development. This helped to meet the needs of residents throughout their lives, while enabling them to live independently for as long as possible.
The project builds on the client’s aspiration to create an environment that has wellness at its core. By design, the development engages with the town and features an active and accessible ground floor, which provides a range of spaces that encourage both healthy living and a sense of community. These facilities include a tearoom, delicatessen, spa and reading room. The development also offers care options for older residents to support their health and wellbeing.
