The Growing Together Garden Project is a joint enterprise between the Design Museum, Design Age Institute, and the Lightbulb Trust. We are working together to transform a neglected and underused green space at the Design Museum into an accessible, intergenerational, restorative and productive learning space for local communities to enjoy.

The Summer Open Day will be an opportunity to discover more about the project, meet the design team public works, and enjoy –

  • making botanical drawing using natural dyes
  • propagating plant cuttings
  • browsing a collection of gardening books
  • free refreshments
  • takeaway compost made with London Grade Coffee grinds
  • visiting The Future of Ageing free exhibit

We hope to see you there!
